Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts provide height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the person using it to raise the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in both construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform that is designed to lift personnel is referred to as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
