Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company within the Northern Italy's largest industrial location. During the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in welded construction industries and the metal structural sector. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, a wide array of presses, forklifts, prefabrication molds and farming machinery.
During 1963, the business began crane production. The company eventually invested all of their human resources and financial resources in this activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the field of lifting.
