End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their great flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features which are quite similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation environments that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an ideal alternative for applications that need frequent on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by various companies which maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a way that is efficient and safe.
All standard reach truck units would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The blades additionally include a hydraulic setup which allows the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into position. Usually, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
